San Antonio Medical Center of Lipa, Inc. is a pioneering health care provider in Lipa City. When it was established in 1970, the hospital was known as San Antonio Maternity and Medical Hospital, because of its basic health care provided by the first US trained Obstetrician – Gynecologist, Frances N. Reyes and Internist-Cardiologist, Cesar A. Reyes Sr. The hospital kept on improving, in the late 1980’s, it became San Antonio General Hospital, a secondary hospital which can support licensed physicians in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and other supporting medical services.
